Coastal Fossils

Rocky and sandy surface with exposed Ammonite and Trilobite fossils. I decided to try something more complex having fiddled around more with substance Alchemist, so I decided to try building a fossil wall/floor material using photos and Substance Designer. There was some initial setup required for the fossils themselves, which were photos of real fossils from a museum. I used photoshop to alpha the fossils out and remove any supports used in the museum displays before moving to Designer to randomize and tile the material. from then on it was in Alchemist with multiple layers of my sand and rock materials, erosion, dirt and a gravel generator to get the final result.
